My First Quilt I Made!

This is the first quilt I made. It was made in memory of my maternal grandparents. I donated it, to be raffled at one of our family reunions, in which the theme for that year was, Remembering Our Loved Ones. My aunt Viv, the youngest of the eleven children, won the quilt. She added a rod pocket on the back, and it hangs in her living room, where she can be reminded of her parents often!

I've come a long way in the quilting world, since making this. And I am sure, that in years to come, I'll still be learning also!!
